Lots of gr8 advice and tips. Thanks, when running on treadmill or any cardio machines it is good to wear a heart rate monitor. if you go over the setting for your age and weight you can burn muscle instead of fat. I find the monitor really useful. Just thought I would put that out to all of my fellow weight losers x

In June after I stop breastfeeding I’m going to go down to 1800. Right now I have to have atleast 2000, but the weight is coming off though. I’m supossed to be 118-130, but I’ll do with 140.

  16. knottmyhair says:

Thanks for the reply. I did forget about smaller people the less cals you need. I’m 197 now. I lost 3lbs last week. Hoping to average 3 a week. I’m pretty use to this with all the kids. I still look at your videos for more inspiration. THANK YOU LADY!

Starvation mode?? What can I do to go back to eating a healthy calorie intake without having my body cling to every calories? I’m scared that once i start increasing it, i’ll gain all the weight i worked so hard on losing

  18. Smile2DayTears2Morro says:

Lol no I’ve never passed out. The first few weeks is gonna be the hardest b/c your body is trying to adjust. Just hang in there b/c it gets easier. Maybe 1500 is too low for you. How much do you weigh now? I have a book that will help me figure out how many calories you need to start out with in order to start losing.

  19. Smile2DayTears2Morro says:

400-600 calories a day? Thats TOO low! Your body is in “starvation mode” and ur metabolism is slowing down. When u finally start eating more food again ur body is gonna cling 2 every calorie it gets as an anti-starvation defense. Then it’ll b extremely hard 2 lose weight the healthy way :o ( You need to eat at least 1200 calories a day. Anything lower than that is not gonna work. 3 hours at the gym is overkill. Slow and steady. I eat 1400 calories a day and work out 6 days a week (an hour each).

  20. popsicle9 says:

HI! I have a question =]! I’ve been trying to lose weight since i started five weeks ago, I’ve strictly have been monitoring my calorie intake to 400-600 calories a day as well as running and hitting the gym 3 hours daily. Am I doing something wrong? You lost 11lbs in during the first 5, but i’ve only lost 6 lbs. Its very frustrating and definately a motivation killer =(. Is there something i’m missing in comparison to yours?

  21. knottmyhair says:

gurl i started my 1st video monday! yea!. on a 1500 cal diet have you ever passed out?! in 2006 i lost like 55ibs i did the majority of what you do, but i was on a 2000 calorie diet. I slipped and didn’t get enough calories for the week and one night i went to the bathroom because my stomach was feeling funny. gurl before i could get on the toilet i passed the hell out! had done blocked myself in the bathroom. my husband had to push me out the way with the door.

  22. ritavienna says:

thank you you are great…. you know a lot…

  23. ciarlo13 says:

I love your video’s ! I’m trying to lose the last of my babyweight.. Trying to lose the “bellyfat”.. Keep up the goed work, don’t give up ! You loke GREAT !
But I have to say this :
I paused the video at 10:23 to go and get a drink. I came back & was thinking “oh my god, what a view” you have to try & see for yourself :)

  24. pwoods151 says:

Girl, I just like to listen to you talk. keep trying your Bestest. Love your style. P. A. Tizzle

  25. Smile2DayTears2Morro says:

I plan on continuing my workouts but cutting it back from 6 days a week to 4 and I’m definitely gonna continue eating healthy. I might add back 200 or 300 calories just to stay balanced out. I’ll have to play around with the workouts and calories for a few weeks just to see exactly what I need in order not to gain or lose weight. Kinda like balancing a see saw.
